I am thinking about getting an astra van ,crew type as I have to take my grand kids to and from school etc, Does any one know if there would be enough room in the back for a 250 or better still 350 litre barrel , and hose reel etc. thanks guys awaiting any help , cheers Ted

They are tiny those astra vans. Only good for a 250 tank. I looked into getting 1 and am sk glad i didnt.

If it was me I would be looking at the combo or even better the connect crew. As van is to small and I have never seen a crew astra. Take a look for a mobility van they are a better and can go quite cheap.

Hi Mick,
Just asking how you getting all these customers this time of year, dark nights etc? are you doing it yourself or canvassers/both.
Im not bad a t canvassing as i come from a sales back ground, but thats proper good going at the rate you are going

Hi mate, yea all from canvassing 2/3 of us going out 3 eves a week 6-8pm Cold dark evenings are the best for canvassing as can see who is in and also can easily spot the dirty houses. I have been lucky this month, im just realy hungry for it at the mo more than ever before.
Anyone can do it, just need the motivation and the eye of the tiger. ;)

Started with an astravan for windows. I wanted it because i thought it was more car like.
Only had a 250L tank but felt that it was pushing the vehicle and I knew the weight was there. Was annoying climbing in because of the low roof.
My advise is get something a little more box shaped and possible a higher capacity.

Cheers Mick,
I thought there must be a few of you doing it as that is some good going. I agree you just have to give it a go, youve inspired me to go out earlier in the year than i was going to (dark nights etc).
Eye of the Tiger fella :)
Cheers
