You can saturate a carpet and underlay and suck most of water out, so great for a deep down clean ie urine. Not cheap though Alltec sell them

I am looking at buying one at Carpex Alltec sell them for £95.00 if you know how to use it for spotting this is the dogs.

I've got one. I use it from time to time for clearing heavily saturated stains. I recently used it to flush out a large paint sipllage. Stick it over the stain and pour the required cleaning agent in solution all round the claw. You can see when its completely removed. Great for flood work.

The water claw was designed for use in flood restoration and in particular the American practice of "top down drying". This is when all the floorcovering including the underlay is dried in situ. Consequently as much moisture as possible needs to be removed machanically to make this process work, hence the water claw. Can be used as mentioned for stain removal, however I believe a handtool can be as effective and you already have one.
