Title: Pricing help for pressure washing.
Post by: Ian101 on March 16, 2013, 04:49:02 pm
(http://i457.photobucket.com/albums/qq291/rideforrotary/Flintshire-20130316-00226_zps2e576079.jpg)

above photo is a 100 sq metre patio ive been asked to quote for.

As im a window cleaner expanding into pressure washing I dont want to give a window cleaners add on service price but what a "proper" pressure washing company would charge.

From what ive read on here £2.50 sq/m seems to be the right price but only seems a few hours work with a fsc so what would you old hands charge.

Apologies if we dont talk about things like this on this part of the forum  ;)

If that is all it is, it is about 2 hours work, including set up, pack up and a cuppa. I would price a third of a day it is was local (within 10 miles) a bit more for travel time/costs if it is further.

I would say that pic looks more like 50 square metres.
I would say £2.50 per m is little steep for patio cleaning. For block paving it is more like it.(All for local work)

It's approx 50 Sqm @ £1per sqm    but  £80 minimum charge  on any job (local) applies.
If it wasn't a giro week for me i might do it for £60.
Stay clear of the tarmac thats a different price altogether!

I've worked it to 75m which would be about £110+vat depending on the customer. Approx 210 600mm slabs - turbo the whole lot

Morning ian, I would look at £120. How big is the tarmac area with the moss on? I would do a quote for that seperate. Looks a bit tight  for repointing but I allways offer that and broken flag in middle needs replacing see if they have a spare most have a couple lying about. I allways try and get extras. I offer a full service not just a patio clean! Most jobs start as a quick £100 but usually end up at least double!

Think that's a fair price.

Out of interest, if you offer to repoint then how long would it take you to do that?

Chris pointing would depend on what we were doing. Just patching in couple of hours but if the want the whole lot replacing then we would grind out one day and point the next day. We would tie a few jobs in together. Good little add on.
