Does anyone know what vans come in LPG?
I've seen Citroen Dispatch but they are only 1.6 engine with a 1000kg payload. It seems a bit undernourished to pull the weight all day long.
I like the new Transit Custom but as far as I can see they're all diesel.
Any help, links or advice appreciated.

I have a MWB mid roof Transit Mk7 145 T300 its a 2.3 Duratorc Engine that is dual fuel (petrol/lpg) on a 58 plate

Cheers Chris
Can you buy them factory fitted from Ford?

Don't quote me on this but i have heard that lpg engines don't last as long as petrol/diesel due to the gas has no lube in it ??? ???
Might be wrong because i heard this when lpg first came out.

Mine was factory fitted by Ford
And as far as mpg is concerned I have never checked to see if its better than petrol I only ever just fill it up
I can tell you the tank holds 75l of gas which costs me .79p per liter i get around 250 miles from a tank full
Im sure someone clever will work that out for us now

There is a system that injects oil or somthing into the cylinder to lubricate the valves to stop this happening, not all lpg vehicles have this though

Forget LPG has anyone tried running their van on 50% water been looking at this site and wondering whether to give it a go or do you think its a scam www.GO-HHO.co.uk

i've had lpg vans and can tell you there a waste of tme for wfp work, you need the torque from a diesel engine to pull the weight, your mpg will be less than half compared to a diesel engine, you will have to be gunning the engine everywhere just to keep up with the flow of traffic!

I had an LPG Ford Courier. 300lt 'D' tank and all equipment. Saved me a fortune :)
