I've had a look and 'rung' :) 2 places but seems no one is able to supply me with a spare foot for my ladder leveller, does anyone know where to order spares from ?

Use a self levelling ladder

Three points of contact, can be set firmly in almost any situation

There is no way in the world I would climb that ladder while there is a much safer alternative.
As Ian Lancaster has pointed out.
Looks a bit of a faff too ??? Too many moving parts - too much to go wrong imho.

Thanks for comments Ian & Grandma, I know they look like something out of a circus but I get on well with it for gutter clearing, simple one foot operation,,

just need a new foot. Cheap enough to buy a complete new one though

A fantastic safety device, Just buy a new one & keep the old one for spares if needed. Very easy to use and nothing has ever gone wrong with mine and very safe on uneven ground as well. ;)

I'm gonna do that Terry, cheers

This looks a good idea. Better than the wooden wedges I've used up till now.

Yes the base mate is a fantastic bit of kit. I have been using one for the last 18 months and no problem whatsoever. I wouldn't be without one.

what broke exactly on the foot?

a rivet holding the foot on ... trouble is I don't have the foot, I just noticed it was missing
