can anyone let me know would you have any main problems with recirculating bypass as standard on many pressure washers. as long as you didnt leave pressure washer idling for periods of time or is it best to get ao outer bypass RTT

Johnny
I left one of our first pressure washers idling as we elevated to roof height, no bypass at all. By the time we had got in place the pump had blown a very big hole in itself. (modified) - This couldn't have taken any longer than three minutes!!!
The small bypass set ups seem to put the water back to the inlet on the pump, you aren't going to gain a lot of time before the water cooks , couple of minutes at the most.
Get your bypass set up to go back to tank. You've got 25 - 30 minutes then and you know it wont be circulating any hot water at all.
Good luck

Like Obi-Wan Kenobi sharing wisdom with a young jedi....this is what the forum is all about. Those at the top still taking time to initiate those just starting out. ;D ;D ;D

I can see them all up there Chris - with you - laughing and patting them on the back, sharing jokes inside info and putting the world right.
I'm just a pressure washer, moderately priced, not retired and looking forward to a full year of work from this point on.

I wasn't joking...well only a bit ...i cant help it. Seriously tho' Rob i think it is good when people like your self have time to answer and guide those just entering in to it all.
Some people are so far up there own arse just because they know and think that they should keep it all to themselves. I think the industry itself would be more professional if people just starting up had a little guidence from those who know what they are doing.
We are on here anyway for what ever reason, so to take a little time out and answer a few questions that other "pros" might seem to trivial is good. I bet those asking are glad of the responses.

To put it into perspective - I'm not at the top.
I have worked hard and I have been fortunate to have been where I needed to be at the right time. This has developed some very good working relationships. I have much to do but the people that I deal with seem to like me and trust my word. I can tell you on substantial projects that i will be out of your way in such and such a time and I always am.
That is a big seller for me. Price it according to spending three days there but be prepared to spend the whole three days there if that is what it is going to take, do what you need to do to get the work finished, irrespective of whether there are people in the way and then get out of the way!!!!
None of this was by chance or luck and I don't take it any less serious now than I did 12 years ago.
The one thing that i am fortunate to have is determination and I strongly believe that if you do something well enough for long enough and use development and good marketing then you have to succeed.
If it all fell down tomorrow I would go back to residential window cleaning and start again.
