It has been on my mind the past few weeks about converting to a hot system maybe with one of those L5 systems, it would be another good selling point and has to do a quicker/better job on first cleans/gutters/conservatory roofs etc
So have many of you converted your systems to hot? How do you find it? Is it reliable? Would you do it again given the chance?
I know lots of questions just want to know whether it worth it!

i use it and like it.....but from April will use cold again, cant see the point of an extra expense of hot in the warmer weather, cost about £33.00 for about 3 weeks

Hated it last year - too many problems.
Love it this winter and can't work with cold.

l5,15kg bottle.i do you set the system to 50/60 psi and fan jets and blast away
i have not sat down and compared prices yet for the gas so will need to get it looked at

Cheers for the replies lads ;)
The cost of is really is nominal when you consider what it could earn you, it really does seem a no brainer if im honest, just wondering why alot more havent converted to hot if it makes the job easier/produces better results leaves you with nice warm hands ;D
For the outlay I think its worth a go at least, just have to find the time to have it fitted, oh nice warm hands on those frosty days is all I can think of :D
Has anyone had any bother with their insurance with the L5 installed at all?
Also with the water heated do you find any issues with the gear at all, soft hoses, loose/leaking connectors etc ?

Fog wash 19kg propane love it much quicker ,like a steam cleaner for glass ;D

my L5 is only on a 6kg bottle, due to space in a berlingo, and can get upto 2 weeks out of it.
depends how hot you have it set and if you have a fast flow then it needs a bit more gas to heat it up.
