Title: Squeegee to fit Harris pole
Post by: zippy on March 13, 2013, 08:36:38 pm
Hey folks,

Anyone know of any makes of squeegee that can screw fit onto the Harris decorator poles?

I think the Harris poles have an ACME thread (they also have a cone that can be used with any of the push-on squeegee's) but I'm looking for a squeegee with an ACME thread that can screw straight onto the Harris pole.

Regards

ive found that the best tip to fit on a Harris is the tip  from an ANZA pole ,these are sold alongside the Harris in BnQ . this tip fits perfect on Wagtail and Unger etc squeegees

I used to use an Unger Visa Versa which pushed on, not ideal but ok for the odd window.

why do you need to screw it on? just push it on. or drill the threaded top off then any blade or applicator will fit.

Thanks folks ... reason I wanted it to screw on is simply because it winds me up with the push-ons when I apply to much pressure and it pops off then comes tumbling down and I have to dodge it!

Wrap some insulation tape around and the squeegee will fit better.
