Looked at the info on the Klindex site - can this unit be used to grind a floor I am guessing minor lippage on a small floor?

You can fit metal diamonds to it and it will grind a floor. IMHO though the handle for it is a waste of money I also wouldn't like to do say a 30m2 floor with it either. If your looking to adapt your rocky then give me a call tomorrow and can talk you through a couple of options

The UFO is primarily designed for counter tops, vanity units, Tables & Fireplaces.  However a handle can be fitted to it to use on floors.  i.e. Suitable for places like a WC, Under Stairs, small Landings and Stairs.  As Tony says I would not want to use it for larger areas as the Levighetor is intended to do this.
