AVG
-
Comodo
Malware Bytes is a pretty good anti malware too
-
i have been using microsofts free one for the past 2 years no probs
great bit of kit and does not slow your pc down 8)
-
avast
-
AVG
AVG missed a huge, serious, old infection (that should have been covered months before) for me. I went from big supporter of AVG to avast after that. Avast seems not to have missed anything so far.
-
Avast.

AVG is terrible.
Eset Smart Security is the best one, as it picks up everything, defends against everything, and has got a tiny system footprint. 3Mb in memory.
-
easy mate just buy a mac
-

The microsoft one works best with windows and its free .
-

AVG used to be king.
A programmer friend of mine reckons all antivirus programmes are a con. He says that they tend to be more debilitating to your computer than the viruses.....
.....depends what you browse I suppose.
-
yeah ive had avast and avg i think on previous laptops which friends have downloaded and found laptops seems to slow down after downloading them
-
Problem is, best anti-virus in the world don't stop laptop being nicked. :-)

is this the defender one,if so its basic,so if you dont do a lot of internet searching its ok.
AVG i thought was terrible
Anti-malawarebytes is very good for doing a sweep and getting rid of existing problems and its free to download with updates
i have norton 2013 and find its very good not had any problems
also you may want to go in to settings and adjust the internet security setting to medium or high,if its not allready

The Microsoft Security Essentials is the one that they are on about I think Bob..
It is very good, and unlike Norton (which has not been mentioned) does not slow down the computer at all, is free, and is regularly updated for free too...
Defender is just the basic firewall that windows gives you.
-
avg has been good to me . i had norton before that , paid 50quid per year and had no problem with that either . norton support was also very good to me ,somebody in America logged right into my lappy and tried to sort out a mess once too .

I think someone has got confused about search engines. there's Google, Yahoo, and for mongs, there's CIU.
-
I did a search for 'MONG' on google and it said Crispy P. Bacon, Guurmany, Rug Muncher and f@ggot.
