Couple of times over the last week or so, my TM has been giving off a bit of smoke - which has made its was into the cab too. It's only after it's been running for a while (full houses etc).
It seems to be coming from a gasket going into the heat exchanger (I think). There's also been a small amount of oil spitting which has made it onto the hose going into the top of the waste tank - very little and doesn't seem to be ongoing. Oil levels are ok too.
Is the small gasket something that can be changed straightforward enough, if that's likely to be the problem?
It's a Boxxer 421 with BS engine.

V. common for BS to be leaky and not always a problem, but if you are getting smoke in the cab its a problem.
I'm sure someone good with spanners will be along in a minute.

Mine used to shake itself to bits every so often I'd go and see dave Ingram and he'd sort it out and make it quieter.

Truckmounts vibrate a bit so its prudent to go round once a month tightening things up. May just need a half turn on a bolt to sort it.

That's what I hate about this forum, you ask a serious question and a few idiots think its ok to joke about giving silly answers.

Never had a problem with smoke - but have had spitting oil creating op-art designs on the side of the waste tank. Once again not massive amounts and not really noticable on oil levels.
On the advice from 'engine wizard' Glynn Waterworth - had the head gasket changed. Problem solved
