Title: WFP Query
Post by: D Scott on February 18, 2006, 01:34:24 pm
Just recently come accross this forum and the advice is excellent.

I have just invested in wfp system (hopefully will arrive shortly). My work at the moment is all residential, but hoping now to build up some commercial.

After some advice on whether I should start canvassing for commercial straight away, or is it worth waiting a bit and trying to build up a bit of speed and confidence with WFP on my residential work first before tackling larger jobs.

Any ideas would be appreciated as WFP is a big step for me.

Thanks
Scot

First I would get used to wfp your normal work and in the mean time.

I would put to gether a Health and Saftey Policy and a Risk Assement and methord statement, as you have to provide these for comercial work.

Also have a look at what buildings you would like to aproach and find there address and tel no, and build a data base and then start contacting them.

Regards Roy

Pretty much what Roy said really.  I have recently switched to WFP and I regard much of the work I currently do as WFP practice for when I get more decent sized work.
