Had two brushes arrive today from Gardiners, along with a few other bits and pieces.
I think they've made a mistake and sent out a couple of toothbrushes! :o
Up until now I have always used Vikan but the positive comments and more three storey work convinced me to give these a try.
Are these best not used on mingers, or can they cope with anything?

Which brushes are you referring to Ian?
1 x Super-Lite Medium Mixed
1 x Super-Lite Xtreme Medium Mixed
Don't get me wrong, I am impressed by the weight, just slightly concerned whether they'll cope.

Gardiners`s brushes ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD by far,i have tried so many different brushes in the past 10 years and have been using Gardiners for over 4 years now and nothing comes close ;)

And A-W-C.

IMO the Vikan flocked brush (favourite the 12 inch "square") cleans better than all the Gardiner range. I do though rate the sl standard flocked which I use on the majority of my work, not quite as good as the Vikan but light.

yep i felt the same mate last year when i bought my first extreme brush.took a while to get used to them.they are very good for maintenance cleans and are perfect on the end of carbon poles with carbon goosenecks.
the dual trim medium mixed SL standard brush is a really good brush IMO and i will use mine for first cleans and filthy frames.extremes for maintenance cleans.
i wouldnt say they scrub any worse or better than a vikan for example.they certainly wont last as long as a vikan but who cares?they are so light and useable and let you pole with minimum strain.
