Clean It Up

We work on new-build houses for house builders - our cleaning spec states to sweep up all concrete dust from floors.
we sweep it up at present but as you can imagine it creates a lot of surface dust - and if the sun is out and the windows have been cleaned etc it can be a right pain to look at afterwards.
We are looking to see if there is an industrial vacuum that would handle higher volumes of dust than say, a henry hoover (which we have used and abused for years without packing in, but want something for the larger quantities of dust)
thanks,
David

It depends on what you want to spend at the end of the day! These sort of Vacs range from as little as £125 up to £6Kish.
This one in the link below is a basic one we sell from Italy it is both wet and dry but I advise that you should never mix a vacuum so in other words if you use it as a dry keep it that way or vice versa for wet.

Thats a good idea because PWM Sales have an even wider range of prices from £299 right up to £13,711 + VAT for vacuums ::)roll

If you are talking about large amounts of dust and your budget will allow get one with an auto shaker to keep the filters clear.
Expensive but if you find you are collecting dust for 8 hours a day it can be worth it.

For bog standard builders cleans you can't beat Numatic NRV200-22 (commercial Henry).
Cheap and go on forever. Vac on top so bag filling up doesn't have any effect on performance.

This is virtually the full range from Italy but I can tailor anything you want to suit you for any application. We also carry a German Range which is anything from Pump Outs to vacuums converted to 50mm or 75mm inlets for gutter cleaning and flood slurry work. We also supply specialised vacs for use in Grain & Food Industry. Just let me know what you need and I will beat any quote you get on a like for like machine!

They only stock what is needed by their customers who are primarily construction and grinding professionals. You get what you pay for I suppose.

Sometimes reading more than the title would save a post ;D

Try this www.karcher.co.uk/...cleaners/11848090... I use something similar to extract dust when floor sanding.

If its a cheapy vac you're after then one of those b&q mac all lister vacs would do, not brilliant but they work, are cheap and you can buy the spares from any b&q.
If you're looking for something more substantial and professional but still portable then a tv50 from pwm sales is a good option. If you're doing lots of dust collection, stick a pre-separator onto it, makes loads of difference.
Forget numatic for fine dust collection long term, their filters can not handle it.

DMCKellar,
If youve only got henry hoovers now, just buy some Hepa filter bags for your Henrys.
Or you can get larger sized Numatic machines and the attachments fit them all.
