Hi All,
What do you think this window cleaning business would be worth:
Customers: 276
Average Job Price: £31.63
Annual Turnover Worth: £48,969
Cleaning Frequency: Mostly every 8 weeks, but some 4, 12 and 16 weekly as well.
Established: 7 years
Thanks,
Andy :)

15-20k at a guess. Depends how tough it is to get work in your area.
-
Impossible to say.
Number of employees? (if any)
Average man hours worked per week?
Also 2 big un-contracted jobs could make up the bulk of the work which would make the rest of the work worthless were he to lose the large jobs.
Impossible to put any kind of value on it with such little information IMO.

not a bad income for doing 35 jobs a week if u went off 8 weekly for all 276 customers

Depends if you're selling or buying.
Depends on costs (does it require someone to drive 800 miles a week?)
Depends on whether one man can do it.
And, most of all, more than any other factor, it depends on the circumstances of whomever is buying it or selling it. If either is desperate, it'll change the price massively.

Thanks for the input so far...
It's basically a sole trader working 4 - 5, 6 hour days a week... All domestic apart from 2 x12 weekly commercials... All WFP.
An average of around 25 miles a day is covered mileage wise.

The thing is, Andy, that, as I said, the state of the seller is probably the most important factor.
If Big Vern is after him for a £4,000 debt that must be paid by Wednesday week or he gets his kneecaps removed, it might be worth £5,000
If he doesn't really care whether he sells it or not, he might get £75,000
