Title: Why lock franky's post??
Post by: roundbuilder on February 22, 2013, 02:30:58 pm
How can anybody think its a good deal paying 3 cleans plus £2k to rent work for a year. It sounds a scam hunting on window cleaners who are a few sandwiches short to buy into it(no offence). to pay that much which works out 4 cleans for the year means you will work 4 out of 12 months for free, i mean come on hows that a good business venture when a canvasser would charge just 2 cleans for you to own that work!.
Anyone who buys into this will just help 1 man get verey rich while they work for free for a third of the year to pay for it.
The worse part is after the year you have to pay for the work over again.
If was 10-20% rental fee of established work for the year then it would be massivley valuble to window cleaners nationally but the way this has come across to me is a total CON.

I will in the near future start canvassing for others again as quite a big demand for it but not untill i get to my target of customers for myself.
If you boys want to pay me loads of money to get you customers then happy days.
Id only charge 1.5 cleans for £500 chunks but no guarantee would be on the work for that price.

so to be clear you pay 3 times then rent it every year after that ?

would it not be cheaper just to go canvass yourself or employ a canvassing company to do it for you then you own the work with no yearly fee ?

am i missing something ?

what is the advantage in paying 3 times then a yearly fee ?

no knocking it just want to understand it better

it says £500 per week ,  i paid £6750   3 months down payment  extra £2000 if  kept for 12 months  .

After 12 months price varies  , and work is checked to see if it is cleaned proper .

this is what is said not how missread  ??? ??? ???

does not sound like it has been bought but rented  ??? ???

Not being funny but that is what has been written .

Its not completely his work though is it? He has to pay a percentage every year if i am reading it right, that would hurt me every time i went to clean a house knowing i had to hand a percentage over :)

Even if he bought the canvassed work for 3 cleans plus 2k loyalty as a guinea pig he has been mugged off. I wouldnt and couldnt con a fellow window cleaner like that as it isnt right and not how id want to be treated.
For 4 cleans you could buy a proper established round could you not??.
I do like franky and he's humour which is why maybe i think he is taking the pi55 and on a windup with the thread as surely he wouldnt truely mug himself off and justify it on a forum as if its good going??.

I'm with mick on this soands a bad deal imo you would be better off taking on and training a canvasser or do what im doing start of march send a lad out to do your roand so you can canvass and first clean full time
