Title: Pressure sprayer hose

I have a non branded metal pump up sprayer. After knocking it over the other day I have got a small hole in the hose. No amount of bodging seems to stop it from leaking.

Is this a common problem and are there any standard hoses I can replace it with. Alternitively is there a hose and lance set which may work (Ideally a sprayer with a fan setting as my sprayer is a bit rubbish).

Post by: The TACCA Scrutineer on February 22, 2013, 01:22:52 pm: I use cheap 5L sprayer's from B & Q. Had mine for about 2 years now and never had a single problem with it, and it cost me a fraction of the price of some of these sprayer's on supplier's websites ;)

I have an expensive Gloria sprayer because i wasted money on cheap sprayers in the past which didn't last, unlucky i guess.

Post by: greg2040 on February 22, 2013, 06:57:12 pm: I have a £10 B+Q sprayer in the house but rightly or wrongly I feel if someone is paying for a professional service it is better to turn up with quality equipment rather than a garden weed sprayer and a henry hoover. Just my opinion of course.

Anyway, since I have already spent the money on a stainless steel one can anyone help with my current issue with the hole in the hose? :)

Post by: james roffey on February 22, 2013, 07:10:29 pm: I needed to replace the hose on my sprayer too, one of the reasons i got the one i did was they can repair and fix things on it, don't know if you have a supplier nearby if not then the larger B&Q stores do many types of pipe like this.
I also agree that a professional should use professional equipment and chemicals.
