Do you guys like cleaning windows when the customers are IN or OUT and why,what are the pros and cons

used to prefer out, so it did not matter what the weather was, now like in because I get paid on the spot mostly, either way it does not matter to me anymore

Still get paid but can be quicker as I don't have to wait to be paid.

Hi Gav
      Just trying to learn this job,looking for any tips,if there are any shortcuts etc,just trying to have a bit of crack,thats all. a lot of you say time is money so when a customer comes out to talk to you is it holding you back etc :)

I like them to be out, so they cannot see how long ( how quickly) its taken me
They cannot prove it was me who knocked over that plant pot
and I can wee in their rose bush if I get caught short.

Nice one Poshgravie ;D i must admit i sometimes feel like i am robbing them when i clean them quick and they are in,will i get used to this guilt ???

You'll find it's good to av a chat
To some as you then become
Trusted etc they then look at you as
A friend they in turn stay loyal to you
Just do a good job
Be regular
Be polite
Close gates
All will be well
Start letting their dogs loose
All wont be well ;D

You will probably only find a very few who want to have a chat whenever you're there.
I like in cos it means getting paid immediately (usually).

Depends on the customer and other things- the weather, for example.
I couldn't say either way, for certain.
