It could mean that too.

Anyway. Love it. Exactly what I need for render cleaning applying chem and working in. New to poles as we just do pressure washing but along with a trolley we've been playing with applying chem through pole and rinsing from a high pressure pole and it's a better method. The previous pole was fibre glass and shorter.

Anyone ever had problems with the clamps? They look a good design.

Get some spare clamps in now Lee. If they break then you are left with a spinning torture device.

I've been using Gardiner poles since the first SLX ever came out. I've never suffered a single clamp failure! Had two come loose which were rectified with tape. :)

I have had to repair three clamps on my CLX in 8 months. It is a pain and ought to not be necessary, but they are still good poles despite their imperfections. I will be buying an SLX25 soon so that is evidence that I only consider it a minor annoyance.

CLX is a great budget pole.clamps are good.sometimes they can come unglued but they are an easy fix.had one on my clx and slx come unstuck but no problem re glueing.

apart from that no problems in over 2 years of using gardiner poles.
