Right maybe some of you tech heads can help me!
We are going to make a film on advanced floor restoration and as part of it we are trying to think of a way of filming a metal sintered or resin diamond when it hits lippage on a floor and sheers!
Can anyone think of a way we can do this in slow motion or would it be best to make it in normal speed and then slow it down!
Any budding directors out there that can give me a few pointers!

You need a high speed camera so you can slow it down and still get clarity.
I think the new GoPro cameras may be capable of this.
Will go do some research.

Go pro hero 2 I think it's called. There will be a tutorial on YouTube how to do it. I had a quick look but my laptop and iPad battery went down.

Keep up Jamie they're on the hero3 now! :) just bear in mind that the faster the frame rate mode on them the lower the quality may not matter tho if its only going to viewed on a 4 inch window, maybe best to ask a local AV club or the local uni may have an AV student willing to help armed with a proper camera

Brilliant idea Kevin, I've no idea how to do it myself but maybe Lee from Protilers would have an idea, he's very clued up on cameras and videos.

Have you got an e mail address for him? I do have a photography teacher coming to see me next week who is thinking about making it an A Level project for some of his students.
