any body else think custys are still in the dark ages regarding window cleaning ,and pay ment methods ive sugested, dd, standing orders ect to most of my custys but they look at you stupid.i got aload of negative replys so give up in the end,one reply was its only window cleaning for f*** sake,i was not impressed with that comment so i droped that account been waiting for my chance ,abitual non payer with a garden full dog sh"t. i would like to get rid of collecting but ive only a small round, and the percentage of none complients looks as though its collecting for me >:(

Try and think positive bud.
If you're getting paid-it may not be exactly how you want (all on SO or such) but least the money's coming in.
They may come round in time, especially if you offer SO instead of a price increase or something.

Hi 90% of my customers pay by bank transfer using there online or telephone banking service . I just ask them do you pay any of you bills online usually answer yes. My reply here's my bank details you can pay me the same way. Add your bank details to windows cleaned slips. You will still have stubourn ones though !!

I just text the difficult ones the night before and ask them to leave in jam jar around back,its working so far :)

its not the clients as such, any way its a small town theres windys comming out of the wood work ive been doing a bit of canvassing, sorting out bad payers etc, but its quite difficult

Customers want to pay in groats, goats, small children and sheafs of wheat. As regards dogs mess in gardens I had a real doozy today, the van now stinks bad.

Majority of my customers pay online, but some drop payment round or pay on the day.
I NEVER collect now.
I found the simplest way to get them to pay my way was to charge for anything other. I charge 50p for cheques, its not a lot but its amazing how many moved to online payment when I introduced it.
Why not start charging for collecting? after all its your time and you are giving them an alternative, it then becomes THEIR choice so they cant argue.
