I get just about every one at £15, but even if I didn't that would still be my price. My point is that there will always be some that won't pay, same as some won't buy beef fillet because it is too expensive. But £15 is still the price.

I sometimes turn over somewhere near that over a day, but earnings would be nowhere near that over a year as I don't have enough work for a star, but even if I did, it doesn't take into account equipment and van costs, insurance, holidays, pension, sick pay, weather issues and so on.

9/10 on a new estate i'd say, i do council houses in kendal that size for £6, cumbria is hard to price though cos there is so many foreiners from down south who think our prices are cheap , where locals don't lol ,    ventwise spend as long as you need cleaning them until they are properly clean, it will save time & worry in the long run
dunno about else where but i dont find any difference in  the time it takes to do a 1 month or a 2/3 month so i charge the same for all
Title: Re: price please

£10.
Prices will obviously fluctuate across the country.
Someone on here recently also said that if you get EVERY job you quote for you're too cheap.
I used to get a bit despondent if people said I was too expensive but long as you get more yesses than no's you know you're about right.
As for people charging what would appear to be a lot more, something is only worth what someone will pay, if you can get £50 for a one off clean-all credit to you. We all would if we could.

You can't just say a 2 bed semi £20 that's ridiculous, you have to price for what you see which is between £6-£10 the latter if only job on site, I could clean this in 5 minis people, are getting the prices they say I may be best going national and starting branches all over therenismso much work I could get!

Let's say windy A lives in Sunderland. His house cost him £40,000 and he is paying £200 per month mortgage. Windy B lives in Redhill. His house cost him £220,000. His mortgage costs him £1,000 per month. Now who is likely to need to earn more to meet his living costs? Who is likely to have to pay more for EVERYTHing that is labour based? So the WC in Redhill pays more for his car servicing, his plumbing, vegetables, meat.... EVERYTHING. If he charged what the Sunderland WC charged he would need to work 10 hours a day 6 days a week, but even then he would probably not earn enough. He would need to resort to petty theft to survive.

So those that shout "rip off" are making themselves look silly.

So you live in the south can charge £4 a window? You think £120 a hour is realistic?? A house that size is Jo more than £10 no matter were you live but maybe if you live in these areas you wouldn't find a house of this statute.

I clean a house in hale swimming pool ect proberly worth 2 million so do I charge them £200?? No I charge £60 has that's fair it take 40 min from what people are saying the house I clean some u would charge £200-£250 haha

Now at these prices the company makes good money I have a nice house q7 ect ect so I don't see they point some are making how they justify there price, if they can get it great but one day one of these companies up north just might tap into a market were they can charge 4x less and still earning very very good money!

And that is a fair price for Baingstoke. So what? In all honesty You would only get the same in Virginia Water because yo would take your Basingstoke pricing with you. So you would be earning less per hour. If you are happy to earn less you should fill your boots.

My house in liverpool cost me 230k. You said I could buy a whole street in liverpool for £300. Who. Looks silly now :)

I can honestly say that id charge£10 front or £15 f+b. i pick up this type of work every week from canvassing. Its down to having the balls to have a min price and sticking to it. I touch nothing less than £10 these days as i know im worth £2.50 a week to keep the customers happy not because im selfish or nieve, just because i can. £2.50-£3 a week to keep there windows clean and house looking well maintained with frames and seals all looking bish bosh is peanuts. I do 1 bed flats and still get £15 f+b. have a price and stick to it.
