Hi all i've recently bought a 64987 Draper Booster pump to transfer water from garden tap to RO in my van as mains
water pressure here is not great, have not connected it yet, the inlet and outlet ports on the pump are size 1inch,
I want to connect it to a standard half inch garden Hozelock hose, was wondering which connectors I should get,
or what any of you guys use for similar or same setup, any advice would be very appreciated.

Go to a decent plumber's merchant with the pump and explain what you're trying to do. They will have the parts in stock, I guarantee it.
If yu present a problem like that, they become interested and really do try to help, in my experience. Makes a difference from dealing with the same old, same old, every day.

If the ports are 1" female and you need to fit standard 1/2" hose to these without the use of quick release couplings then the simplest way is a couple of 1" male screw to 1/2" barbs elbows such as these:

If you would rather have a way of disconnecting the pump then you could first fit a 1" to 3/4" reducing bush:

and then screw in something like one of these:

Cheers Alex for your good advice, I'm now living in Galway Ireland, I will be soon ordering one of your SLX poles & brush's
for the very first time from your agent Sureclean in N.Ireland, do they sell the above connectors you are advising.

They should sell the nylon barbs and adapters - I do not think that they currently stock the QR metal fitting, but they should do something similar in plastic.
Best to check with them though as they do have some items that are not listed on the website.
