Title: R&A's work goes to the USA
Post by: Roger Oakley on February 15, 2013, 08:58:09 pm
Finished a set of Teak furniture last week that went to the USA
Customer was relocating to the USA and wanted his Teak restored before it went.
Explained that he could get it done out there, but he wanted a natural finish, he liked our work and, so not just stained which he thought the americans do, they don't.
Anyway all furniture stripped, brightened, sanded and re-oiled, loaded into his container and on it's way to the USA.

The set in question was an Alexander Rose set, around £4K+ in value.

So R&A's furniture restoration goes to the USA  8)

Roger

Well done -  you should be proud of that and there is nothing wrong with telling people.

Get it on the website.

You're not going to get a massively different store down your way as someone has decided that all the filthy walls, gutters, paving etc are not worth doing - it is one of the dirtiest stores I have ever worked on.

The scope is to clean the gable end, car wash, PFS orange fascia (already done) the stairwell roofs (four), two trolley shelters and the top of the car park lights.

Once again well done

Cheers Rob, one in the eye for the Americans

I know that store is filthy I did see you post last weekend that you were coming down, if you down this week give me a call and I'll try to get over as I'm working from home all this month on a large furniture restoration.
