Post by: newlook on February 11, 2013, 04:33:04 pm
Is any one using Bio- Ethanol B95 in their purified water to stop it freezing? does it leave any
residue or smearing?

Try and find a chart showing you the percentages required to stop freezing at particular temperatures. You might find you would need as much as ten percent.

What is it? Fuel  :o

Hi

I used it last year it didn't leave any marks but the water still froze.

I did start a post before and no one had used it or could tell me how much to use.

I was told by another window cleaner (Not on CIU forum) to use it as it was good stuff but I can't not remember who it was.

As no one else know's anything about it I haven't used it this year.

Waste of time you need at least 10% for it to work at -1
And the ratio increases every deg below.
Not cost effective
