At the moment im runing a car for personal and van for work. Im thinking of getting rid of the car and buying a vauxhall vivaro with a bulkhead and getting a profesional fitted system buy ionics. Would you drive about with you partner and kids and feel its safe enough if any thing happens .
-
That's a tough one. Think you will get a few varying opinions here
Only if it wasn't a huge tank or if it was pretty much drained when not on use
-
Ionics claim their systems are extremely safe, even so I would always empty the tank before using the van to carry my family about.

No mate, a massive no, you will need two policies one for work and one for social and domestic use to be covered adequately.
Secondly we know of a window cleaner who did similar and had a massive accident in his van wrote off his van and system and his insurance didn't pay out as they said he was useing his van for none commercial use.
Plus your look like a pikey.

You do not need two separate policy's. As long as its insured for business use, you can use it for whatever you want. You will just not claim part of the running costs back on your accounts.

Not bothered bout the insurance im more worried about my family safety.

Sorry lee but i'm going to disagree with you on this, ours states commercial use only. Also bear in mind its a commercial policy and dose not allow you to drive 3rd party.

im going to disagree with you because one policy can cover business and social domestic use, your right on you can't drive a third part car/van.
I takes my kids to school and they mean the world to me, so yes
Does shock me that some will let employees in vans they don't trust tut tut

If you get a vivaro make it 07 or after Gearbox....
-
my van is covered for business and for social
-
My insurance says business social and pleasure as well so it is very easy to organize.
If you get an ionics fitted they are as good as any. Consider too GrippaMax.
