Title: WFP
Post by: all clean and pristine on February 08, 2013, 10:00:59 am
Hi All

I am looking for some sensible sound advice on a New WFP system Van mounted ( I hate Ladders). The system will be used to provide a service to Customers we already have for our Domestic Cleaning service,So the point I am making is i dont intend on becoming a full time window cleaner but "add it to our service list".

can you professional guys give me some much needed guidance as to what I would need.length of/type of poles etc

And also what sort of price I should be expecting to be paying for a decent system. Been Quoted about £2500 so far does that seem about right ?

I certainly wouldn't bother with a full blown van mount for what you intend to do.  A backpack should suffice, with a stand alone 200 or 300gpd RO from Purefreedom in your shed/garage and a 500lt IBC to store the pure water; half a dozen 25lt barrels; an 18ft glass fibre (or made up Unger pole - all bits available from Window Cleaning Warehouse) and a 25ft gf pole.  Total cost shouldn't be more than £6-700

go for a home made van system again about £700 for everything with the 200gpd ro

Where are you based? You could get away with a DI setup.

What is your biggest house that you need it for?

You can get going for a lot less than £2k if its just an add on.

If you want to call me for advice feel free.
