I used a 110 . Had a 300 l tank when started then put bespoke
500 l . Was great truck but only managed 22mpg in winter
And 24-28 in summer.
I sold it to buy van , regret it to this day.
Go for it , as long as you can afford fuel.
If you get a 300 tdi you can run it on chip fat

I got a 110 hi cap pickup and am just looking at what to do with it. I know it can carry a "lot".

Would love a Defender.

For a 60 year old vehicle it appears perfect.

Huge tyres and 4x4 driving system mixed with box like structure for easy manourvering and parking - I bet it is relatively the same size as a Fiesta length wise.

All this without the 'flash' reputation a lot of Chelsea Tractors get.

Its either another van or a defender I have always fancied a defender but it depends on what size tank you can fit in the back etc, I know some of the bigger ones can carry quite a lot of weight aswell, would also be good for when bad weather comes getting down side roads in snow.

We have 450l tanks in our 110s. They could easily carry more.

thinking of getting an L200 and ditching van and car, going down to 1 motor.
how do you fasten your tank down?. Alternatively, been looking at a water bowzer

300 litre tank will fit between arches/seats and you can make
A "t" shaped tank that sits between and over arches

I've got a 300 litre tank that is custom made to fit a Landy 90, it's in the for sale section!
