Anyone ever done this before? ive never and have to go and price onw this week, done loads of externals but never internal, just wondered if theres any tips or advice on methods?

I did one once....nightmare!
It had been smoked in, and was a nightmare to get all the upvc the same shade of white...lol
I had done the outside in a couple of hours, inside took nearly 5 hours!
Ever since then, i say i dont, and advise them to hire a domestic for a few hours to do it.
If anyone knows of an easy way of doing internal, i'd be interested to know too!!

I did it once too. Never again. I did it from step ladders but it is so awkward doing it upside down, i got dirty water all over the customers carpet and walls, in the end i had to appologise for such a crap job and pay for a tin of paint for her to redo her wall. So for me never again.

We do them all the time in spring / summer and find them ok.
Take a few sheets to protect custies furniture and carpets.
Turn down any conservatories that have been smoked in. Your gear will be sticky and horrible for days afterwards yuk. (Or put a daft price on them so they might be worth it)
A damp microfibre with virosol or ubik to wipe the plastics followed by a last wipe with a dry scrim gets them shining.

Rough idea for you.
We charge £35 an hour on internal cons, so try and work out how long it will take etc ... Norm 2 hrs to get all the frames done on an average size con, we charjpge more if its proper mingling tho

We do quite a few. Did one today. With the right chemical, the nicotine is not a problem. We use neat citrusol. It gets brown back to white, not yellow, white.
For frames, spray it on with a trigger bottle, leave 5 mins, wipe frames down with a fairly wet microfibre cloth, then a damp one, then a dry one.
Use it neat on your applicator too. Pole it on to the roof panels, squeegee them off, twice. Your water will be minging. Get fresh water with fairy in, go over the panels again like normal and hey presto! ;D ;D ;D

Do you say to the customer that you charge £50 per hour Steve? Or work it out beforehand say 3 hours so £150 and give them a price for the job?

Just give them the price and say that it includes the cost of the expensive chemical needed to remove the nicotine.

Guess how long it will take you, then double it.
Think of a price, then treble it.

i simply refuse all inside conservatory cleaning.i can do without the hassle or the extra work!! ;) ;D ;D
