Title: windows,windows and ........ windows??
Post by: Daniel Baker on February 05, 2013, 10:19:17 pm: so this may be the dumbest question ever but what are the dreaded leaded windows??

round my ways its mostly pvc frames, with the odd single pane sash thrown in, are these leaded? I find that when detailing on the older sashes that you can tend to bring dirt from the corner onto the glass aswell. any ideas?? as some of them are quite crumbly and dont want to damage them.

Just interested in what exactly they are and what it is that makes them such a pain??

i see well i have never cleaned one but by the looks of them there a lot more hassle than there likely to be worth.
