been asked to quote quite a substantial amount of rented houses and would like to know a price people charge when completed by gutter vac??

Very hard question to answer...
Can a gutter vac be used. ie is the gap between tile and gutter big enough to fit the vac in?
I charge per metre. If a house is 100metres and I can fit the gutter vac in I charge £150. If it does not I will charge more as I need to go up the ladder and have someone foot me etc. There is always work that takes longer ie ublocking down pipes

thanks for the info it all helps, most will be two storey so can be laddered but would prefer to do gutter vac! think a price per meter would be a way forward

For big jobs we charge per meter.
We did a nursing home last year and counted up 290 meters of guttering :o
We charged £350 i think only took a few hours, Luckily, it could have been very very messy and taken all day! We used a gutter vac and ladders on extra blocked up bits guiding the end of the vac to suck it all up.
Gutter cleaning with a GV is soooooo much easier. It helps if there is 2 people as well, one to "suck" and one just sort wires, hose and machine following the "sucker"
I would say price slightly heavy if you think you can get away with it as you never know what your gonna get!
