as anyboby got any infromation on cleaning house roofs to remove the dirt,moss etc.and prices.

Specialised job mate. Plus all H&S aspects.
I'd say its better leaving well alone.
look up Anglian windows this will give some idea whats involved.

thanks mate. just seen someone last month dong tis job chargeing 350 per house and they have about 20 in this area

Its a good line of work to get into, I have done a few myself.
But make sure you get a scaffold and a decent cat ladder.

how much do you do them for gary?

with the bunaglows he did them with a extending lance.

I have mostly done bungalows and dormer bungalows and they start at a minumum of £190 plus scaffold, per side depending on how bad they are.
But you do really need to identify what sort of tiles they are and what has soiled them, wether its moss, lichen, or metal staining.

thnks gary, going to try my dadsroof  his is covered in moss and lichen. going to use my extending pole , what nozzle do i use ?

also has anybody got any photos showing roof cleaning?

Try a small patch around the back, as you will give up using the extended lance.
Its too hard work.

Pressure washimg is likely to wash off the pigmented surface of the tile leaving the tiles looking washed out and porus, making them more atractive to moss etc.

A house near me was done around 6 months ago and is now coverd in moss worse than before not to mention the fact the pigment was washed off. I doubt most insurers cover pw at roof height.

couldnt i seal them with xylene ?? but that could cost to much?
