I've been doing wfp for a year or so and find some windows as you know don't like it and some quicker and better result doing traditional way. Although normally wfp quicker. As i can do trad pretty quick and well i'm going to start doing some downstairs with squeegee. I wondered what people thought of wagtail and which one best as there quite's a few. Thanks in advance.

I've got a Wagtail Whirlwind.

either the yellow orbital 12" OR the blue slimline 14" are my weapons of choice for domestic work . i swear by Wagtail

someone on here saying they stick their own pads on them diy style. do the normal pads wear out easy? what's the scrubbing like with them?
any good for shops?
-
best one for a bit more aggressive cleaning. saw ones with what looked like a flimsy piece of cloth on them.

Can you really wash and wipe in one pass with whirlwind or are yo better off with the flipper. Robertphil what's the background in your photo is it venetian.

I always scrub the window with the microfibre pad first and then squeegee off.
There is a Wagtail One Pass squeegee available but i've never used it.

i prefer using a seperate scrubber after i used a flipper nonstop for 6 months and it near killed both my wrists . the extra weight of the wet pad on a pivoting squeegy is what did it for me
<- the photo is one i took one bored evening on my tv screen of a guy arrested after a chase for violence in America, tv show "cops" . i used it as a way to put off an ex employee of mine who might have been stalking the forum,he was affecting my business at that time

Do you use the Wagtail applicator, Bobby?
-
morning Griff me ol mucker . i had a go with a wagtail applicator but no good for me. it didnt hold enough water to do 1 house and it swivelled too easily . at the moment i use a swivel unger Tbar and my workers prefer using fixed Ettore pro Tbars . thats reminded me iv got to get fresh tbars ,some of the rubber grips have burned off with overuse
but back to the Wagtail, i can honestly say the yellow orbital Wagtail squeegee played a big part in my business, workload grew big quickly because the speed of the squeegee allows fast work.
unfortunately my body failed to keep up ! i tried for 1 year to handle the workload and very nearly bugggered both my wrists up , which was why i decided i had to take on workers . my wrists recovered almost overnight when i changed to a seperate Tbar

Ta, Bobby. I didn't think the Wagtail applicator looked up to much.
I use a 10" T-bar for a lot of work. It's lighter and easier to throw about.
