Think I will stick to my gardeners extreme :P

Great video where do you get those hazard cones from :-* :-*
-
Good video,
Terrible pole.
-
Good camera work. Is that pole made from Pasta .Floppy and clamps look like some sort of weapon.
-
the clamps are quite nice to be fair, they are a little bulky but very easy to use.
Loving the camera angles Lee
-
The only thing that interests me is the option to run the hose outside of the pole in those clips. otherwise it looks like they've done the Facelift trick of adding a pretty carbon weave on the outside. Also they've made the clamps far too bulky.

Thanks man..... plan to bring you guys more product close ups of all the manufacturers that are out there :)

Good vid! Do you use a GoPro?
-
great video lee, much better than mine!!! wanted to see this pole in action as ive only seen them in the shop, i like the idea behind them and to be far it didn't look to bad, with the pole hose running outside of the pole and being able to add and take off sections while you work, but i do think the smart money will still go on gardiners sl2, id like to hear from andy a year down the line to see how they stand up to wear and tear
-
Now thats what i call an interesting vid!
top marks to you Lee for entertainment ;D
that pole looks a load of old poop to me ( sorry Allen! ) huge bend and flex but i did like the jets twist and fit
thats a nice litttle touch.

thats cause they know how to put them in their pocket and not keep playing with them every 2 mins ;D

We have sold a lot of n-Lite poles through our janitorial business and so far we have only had positive feedback.
We also have one of our window cleaners kitted out with n-Lite poles and he says they are the best he has ever used.
I kow this is a Gardner forum but you may want to have a look as the n-Lite poles and brushes have a lot of plus points in their favour.
-
Brilliant video/camera work.
Crap pole!
What a faff!!! :-\ I could have had that done in half the time, by myself with the Xtreme!

Sorry, I couldn't resist. ;D

so what is the weight for this pole ? and is 22 ft actual length or reach ??
people who drive dacia cars think there brilliant esp. if they have never drien anything else!
Not so - just so happens gardiners are a top quality item for affordable prices.
this shouldn't become a knock the bloke or equipment thread - i'm interested as i've not seen an nlite
in action before but i do like the vid. a real step forward

mmm no this is a democratic forum were people have free choice and speech and they have exerted that right by buying/investing in what the majority(imo) believe is the best on the market................gardiners

had an xtel 17ft pole since 2008 and only now is it on its last legs
-
how did you lift the pole with the camaraman sat on the end of it ? was thinking of one of those poles last week, but left it, might just leave it a bit long yet
-
A really good video with the camera's put in some cool places. Would have been interesting to see what the pole hose did as the pole retracted and there was a fair amount of flex on the pole.
I'd like to see a similar video done on the extreme. That would be cool.
Simon.

That N Lite pole should be called HEAVY POLE ;D

Yes, we use GoPro. Thinking about getting one of them remote control hover planes with an onboard HD camera :)

I agree. I have Gardiner poles in my van but I am not exclusively Gardiner. Gardiner poles are awesome but that doesn't mean I shut myself off from other poles... I be daft too :)

Is there any other vids you would like to see on window cleaning? Just thought I would ask...

haha, black ops style!

liked the music. :)

I would like to see a video that covers how to clean and window from start to finish including what most videos lack how to hold the pole, how far away from the window should you stand and how to move your body to avoid damaging your sholders, as at the moment i am starting to get aching pains in my left shoulder.

I like the look of it and a little extra weight would be worth it if the pole lasts. i have a superlite 2 pole. Great pole and very light, but the top 3 sections wore thin pretty quickly (about 9 months) and eventually broke, but I did use it as my everyday pole so was put together and taken apart quite a lot. I keep saying to myself that I will part with £300 to replace them, but never get round to doing it. Unger stuff usually lasts forever.

Hi Rob
When you say that you use the Super-Lite as an everyday pole, what height is this at?
The Super-Lite pole is best suited for repetitive high level commercial work where there is a minimum of height changes due to its modular design and thin-wall construction. I would not recommend them for use as an everyday domestic pole due to the wear and tear that such work always puts on a pole.
About 5 years ago we brought out the SL-X telescopic pole range to complement the Super-Lite pole. These telescopic poles are a little heavier and less rigid but are far more suited to the wear and tear that everyday domestic use attracts. I would always recommend one of these poles for domestic work.
-
Hi Alex
Like I said, i used it as an every day pole for all my work including domestic houses as it was such a joy to use, if i could turn back time I would have used it on high level stuff only, you live and learn.

I have had a long think about this Lee..
i'd be interested in seeing an absailing vid - a decent wagtail used on a pole (internal clean) vid
oddball cleans - strange and individual buildings - maybe with a particular problem window etc..
and a time elapsed video of a solar panle farm being cleaned ;)
