Post by: James chapman on February 02, 2013, 04:49:48 pm
Hi has anyone got one of these systems? If so what output are you getting. Men is taking 7 hours to fill my 350 tanks this seems very slow compared to the quoted figures.....

I have a 650gpd twin pumped system, takes about 4 hours to fill 400ltr tank,in this cold weather, should be a bit faster when it warms up.
Yours does seem a bit on the slow side....

That's what I was expecting about 90 litres an hour instead getting about 50. Seller has offered to take it back and look at it but means I got no water supply for a week.

Have you set the flush tap so the waste to pure ratio is a bit quicker? mine is set just under halfway between fully open and fully closed.

I think it's either fully shut or fully open. If you close the valve any you get less pure as it goes towards the flush position.

With mine fully closed all the water goes through the membranes and f's them up,there is no waste at all coming out of it. Not sure if thats how it should be,wasnt like that on my old system,it was either fully open or fully closed, not like this one.
