Post by: KLEENAWAY on January 31, 2013, 09:22:22 pm
How much would you chaps charge for this? Its both canopies, jet washing around them and the disabled parking spaces. Ill tell you what the 2 previous quotes were before me..... ;)

Just across town. I clean a good few commercial around that area.

I'll be interested to see the prices quoted, peanuts no doubt.

God knows who they rang (hopefully not anyone on here)....one quoted 80 quid and one quoted 170 quid. Nutters mate

Wasn't me :(

Difficult to say without seeing it, and it would most likely need cleaning out of hours.

£80 is funny, £170 is prob a one man band sticking a day on it.

I've been up against a few lately that leave me scratching my head thinking how on earth can they make a profit out of those prices.

Thing is though mate is it has to be done over a few Sundays for a few hours at a time so it doesn't affect the shop. The pics don't really do it justice....they haven't been cleaned in years.

Out of curiosity deeege....how much would you quote? The maintenance lads from JTF told the manager to expect to pay up to a grand for the work

Difficult to say from pics. Having to work over a few Sundays will, of course, increase the cost aswell.

If they are as bad as you say, and also how many Sq metres of floor space want washing, I'd be closer to a grand than to any of the prices you mentioned :)

I'm guessing you didn't get the job then? :( good luck to the fella working a couple of Sundays for £80 :)

To be honest mate i went in abit below a grand but still a very good price for what it was. Also i think the idiots going in at such a low price helped me as they were just laughed out of the place. And i was just honest with the lady manager. Iv not cleaned it yet....it will probably end up a nightmare haha

Good luck with it. I pop in there every so often, some reasonably priced cleaning products. I'll be having a nosey to see if you've done a good job :)

does the job include gum removal on the parking bays or just to power wash, if there is no gum removal then that job could be easily completed in one day.

No Trevor it doesn't include gum mate. I wish I could do it in one day but the managers have insisted that it not affect customers....thats the reason it has to be done over a few quiet days.
