Post by: Michael Peterson on January 31, 2013, 12:53:43 pm
hi all, i have a small 18 footer clx and the top section is worn loads, i got a top section from gardiners for the slx (shop worn so cheap) i know they are the same size to will fit so is this going to make my clx any better ? adn is there any problems i am not seeing ?

No problem at all. You'll notice a slight weight and rigidity improvement.

You could do a Woody Allen/trigger thing and gradually change all the sections to SLX, then if anyone asks, you'll have an SLX by stealth.

the bit of the slx will be rigid the rest will flop ;D i have both poles and slx all the way. will be a bit lighter for you tho mate and in time swap the other sections until your just left with the bace  ;D
