Not sure what you mean by hook,i have seen things on ebay that scoope out gutters. You could make a hook using adjustable angle adapter and bend some metal and bond it in maybe ?

I have made one before.
But it was ok for flicking large bits out of the gutters but wasn't really effective for getting everything out.

I used an offcut from some 25mm aluminium handrail I had in the garge (available from diy store).

Probably about 18-24" long.
I beat one end flat with a hammer. Then got a broom handle with a standard threaded end.
I cut that down to about 6" and glued it into the other end of the handrail.
So I had a threaded end and a flattened end.
Then I bent the flattened end over into a hook shape.
This will then screw into a standard angle adaptor on the end of a pole and the angle can be adjusted from the angle adaptor.

Are you still there? zzzzzzzzzzzzzz ;D

I have adapted stuff in the past and used a gutter vac. I still think the best way is climbing the ladder and getting it out. :)

I think you are meaning to loosen the crud in the gutter before I use a vac.I took 2 x1 inch aluminum strips and pop rivetted the on either side  of the top  a Harris pole so that one section would support the other when bent over to form an hook then pop rivetted the ends together. The  end of the hook  should have the shape of the gutter to fit into the gutter.. I then loosen all  the crud in the gutter before I use a gutter vac.
If need be you can fasten the alu strips onto a plastic goos neck, so it can come off.

or if you got money to burn buy this. £25
