I've seen a bigger range of vehicles for window cleaners lately .... Land Rovers, Smart Cars, Pickups....
Who runs a system not in van and why?
Name your vehicle and post some pics if poss along with why you thought it was the best option for you....

when i first started out window cleaning i started out in a VW Golf with a 125lt tank in it and a couple of 25lt barrels, trolly and poles on the roof rack, soon picked up to many customers so have no choice to buy van.

Super Cab Ford Ranger as it copes easily with half a tonne, goes anywhere and allows me to take the kids six miles to school without swapping vehicles.

Land Rover 110 td5.
Our system has been in development for 8 years. It has loads of advantages over a van and very few disadvantages.
We have been running Land Rovers for over 10 years. I still have the first one we bought. See what kind of nick your van is in 10 years time, not good I'll bet. If I sold my first Landy tomorrow (it would sell within an hour what with the weather) I'd get more than 2x what I paid for it, probably more than 3x.
Simples.

when are we going to see the pics of this landrover fit out ???

We have a slight hold up in our supply chain. We are waiting on a modified part of our tank to arrive, as soon as we've got that (hopefully Monday) we can get the Landy finished (hopefully by Friday next week, it needs a re-spray) Once it is done it should only take a couple of days to get the blog online.

The tanks fit directly to the centre of the load area, between the wheel arches.
