how do you guys get brick acid to those hard to reach area's on new builds without the use of a cherry pick or scaffold?

;D
Telescopic pole on low pressure feeding acid through ventura is an option.
-
Just make sure you do it on a day with no wind..
-
I wouldn't be able to do it with my missus's cooking ;)
-
Thats ok mate, aslong as they are only down drafts ;D

In answer to the question we would walk away, if you cant use 'proper' access equipment the job cant be carried out safely, always interesting to ask the site m ....How would you do it ?

ha-ha!! brilliant,
don't fancy using 36% HCL through pressure washer though.

It wouldnt go through washer, what Lee is suggesting is a Chem Injector ;)
-
And you would dilute first too. We've done it on some tight access gables but it can be extremely dangerous. Don't do it what so ever if there's the slightest breeze.
-
Ive used my tele lance to spray mosskill on an awkward chimney breast, not sure id use it for acid though, like the lads say , make sure its not breezy
-
cheers guys, think i will get extension lance for my sprayer & that will have to do, to risky.

Would window cleaning pole hoses survive brick acid?
I am pricing a job up now and I don't fancy spraying acid to the top of gables.
-
Could you not go and buy some chemical resistant hose, like fuel or oil hose from a hydraulics place and just swap it for the window cleaning hose just for this job? If its only low pressure should be able to change the hoses over pretty easy, then just flush the pump afterwards?
Normal garden hose can handle acid in my experience ;)
-
I am asking because I don't know (and for no other reason) but what are you cleaning at those heights that needs acid spraying onto it?
Rob ;D

cement on new builds left by builders.
I have some 2 story houses that have gable ends that have some cement on them. There are 46 houses to do on one site I am quoting for.
-
just quoted for 150 houses for brick cleaning.
all high level work is to be completed from scaffolding before being dropped after mastic/silicone man been
