Title: Water transfer pump.

For those of you who have a static RO with storage tank.....


What pump do you use to transfer water to your vehicle? We were using this until it packed up this week:

I use something similar got mine from B & Q for a fiver 2yrs ago fills my 400 ltr tank in less than 10 mins .

Go to local aquatics shop should get a good deal and fsr cheaper. Mike

absolute bargain for £45,  drop it in your tank and away you go.

i submerged ours into a large bucket of pure water to remove any rubbish on it before i put it into the ibc.

this is what i use,
for £33.43 it does well,

has to pump water 1.5m in the air  then about 60m's to the van

I use this one with 1'' hose, fills my 350 tank in a couple of minutes.

we use one of the chrome ones not sure which exact model but it been superb since we got it really fast nice and slim too used garden centre ones in the past and they tend to break after bit of bashing

i use the same sort of sub pumps but the switch has broke so ive cut it off and just wired it up and made the connection fully water proof. the cheap ones are ok but its the switch that goes not the pump

Does everyone just use submersibles?

No fixed in line pumps?

Why would you want an in-line?  Submersibles are convenient, reliable and cheap.  We have four, all different makes but all about the same price £35-£40 and all do the same job.

i agree with ian, you can also have two or three in the tank at once pumping to 3 diff vans  :D
