Title: just what I need

Working away today on a block of flats. All van closed up using van ports. I hear a loud bang turns out bin men reversed in to back doors of the van and now they wont open so took to a local body repair shop. My mate works there. Will have it back friday. Council said they will foot the bill.

I am insured just got the call it will be 900quid to fix it as both doors and hinges are not repairable and a new bumper and mounts. Not happy but glad I only have a days work left then two weks off for canvassing. In a good way the doors did have dew dents in them so van will look better.

If it makes you feel any better a courier went into me on Friday after about 1/4 inch if snow.
Said he wanted to avoid insurance and could he pay cash.
I said I'll get some quotes. Came back at £1600!
He said, I'll go through insurance.
PITA cause we're chockablock in Feb!
