I could never go back to an xtel. Gardiners aren't perfect, but they leave xtels for dead. Heavy, stiff to open and clise and too long when closed.

once you ve used a gardiners SLX pole with extreme brush and carbon gooseneck youll understand what were all banging on about mate!!

it just allows you to go about your work with the minimum of strain and work is so much easier on the shoulders, neck etc esp when cleaning awkward windows and 3 storey work.

best wishes

paul i have a 25ft SLX mate.its perfect for 90% of my work.i use a 40ft SUPERMAX for anything higher than 3 storey windows and solar panel cleaning.

you wont regret it paul.itll make your work so easy and fast!! ;) ;D ;D ;D

its an absolute joy to use!!

ive had an unger teleplus,20ft streamline fibreglass,25ft ali brodex hydra pole and a 22ft CLX.

the SLX beats all of them hands down for rigidity, ease of use and they are sooo light and strong!!

in hindsight i should of listened to some of the guys on here and gone straight for an SLX from the start.

best wishes

harris pole for two storey with fibre glass extension for third
floor and for anything higher which is rare a maver fishing pole

handled the slx a few times nice and light but far too flimsy
i like something i can literally throw in the garage at the end of
the day.i dont want to be pole hugging like some of you girlies
on here ;D

JSMC yes the slx does wear.usually the top 3 sections where you clamp the most.

the point is (for me anyway) is your everyday working life is so much easier with less strain.something we all need to keep to a minimum IMO as we need to keep the risk of RSI down.

over the last few years ive picked up more and more work with awkward windows,3 storey(and higher),the introduction of add ons like conny roof, fascia, soffit, outside gutter and now solar panel cleaning so i feel its worth spending extra on  decent carbon poles.

after all im making a lot more money using this equipment! ;D ;D ;D
