Question to people with experience of both carpet cleaning & oven cleaning.
Which one do you find there is more work available? And which one do you thing is more profitable?
-
Depends on what you are planning to charge and how quick you can do a good job for me its defo carpets

If you are looking to clean ovens without taking the doors off or using a diptank then i think carpet cleaning is for you.
-
Bill, im not intending to clean ovens without a diptank or removing doors. I asked the question out of interest.
-
Oven cleaning £25ish an hour, carpet cleaning £70ish an hour
No comparison
I think the market size is the same, if they will pay someone to clean their oven they will pay someone to clean their carpets, and visa-versa

As Harry Hill would say, "only way to tell is......FIGHT" sorry couldn't resist ;D

£70 per hour you mite earn that but prob 90% don't. I reckon as it is at the moment oven cleaning not a lot out there compared to carpet cleaners.

Commercial kitchen cleaning is worth more than commercial carpets.
