Due to business partners’ retirement and downsizing of the business the following Swindon round is up for sale:
Established: 2004 (WFP from 2005)
Number of customers: 189 cleaned on a 6 weekly cycle (11 on a 12) all domestic.
6 weekly turnover: £2,630 (plus additional £150 every 12 weeks)
Plus conservatory roofs, gutter cleans can add an additional £200+ per month
Average monthly turnover approx.: £2,000
Areas covered include Haydon, Oakhurst, Peatmoor, Stratton, Old Town, Freshbrook and areas in between, all in a 3 mile radius.
This is a well-established round, with loyal customers. No problems with non-payers, most paying via stamped addressed envelopes or Bacs transfer. Currently run part-time (2 operatives 3 half days per week approx.) there is plenty of scope for expansion. If needed we would be happy to work with the new owner during handover to ensure both you and our customers are happy. The sale is for the round only.
Price £15,000 NOW £12,500 £10,000 or offers !!
Any questions please email Steve at post@amazing-glazing.co.uk

Pretty expensive in my opinion.

Advice on these boards seems to vary from 3 times turnover to up to 8 or more ??? so have gone for the middle ground of 5 times ;)
Anyway this is a good quality round and if you think it's expensive then make us an offer ;D

Its part of a business (a round) so no more than 4 in my opinion and thats at a push. x5+ and I would expect a business

Also, average £14 a house 6 weekly seems a bit cheap for this part of the world. I did think about it as an add on to my work.

Thanks all for the feedback, taken on board and price reduced ;) Now looking for offers around the £12,500 mark as we need to sell so we can both move on - Steve

Time is moving on and we really need to move this part of our business. Now looking for offers around the £10,000 mark, if you have the equipment you could be out and earning straight from the off. Any questions please email:

Hi, I have a couple of questions on this. What is the price range and approx how many at different prices. E.g how many at £10, how many at £12 etc. Also, you say 3 1/2 days a weeks. So is that 3 man days a week total (2 men working 1 1/2 days each) or one and half days a week (2 men working less than a day each)?
-
Hi Steve
Prices range from £10 to £26 ( 8@£10, 3@11, 35@12, 37@13, 23@14, 22@15, 7@16, 1@17, 15@18, 7@19, 8@20, 4@21, 1@22, 1@23, 1@25 & 2@26)
The round is currently worked within another round (that I'm keeping) so hard to be spot on with time taken, but I would say working on your own it would be about 3 days work a week over 6 weeks.
hope that helps, Steve

Thank you Steve. I am interested, but I have so many thoughts for and against. Distance, frequency (my work is all 8 weekly) v quickly being ready for the next step.
