I just received this email (with an attachment but no virus, so I guess it's phishing?).

Since when did the Post Office have anything to do with taxation and rebates other than deliver them to your door??

If anything comes like this bin it immediately and do not even down load the main message.
You should know whether you are due for a rebate-- and its the wrong time of year.

Gary there has been loads of these over the years. The tax office will never email you with refunds or collections. It will always be via royal mail.

I got exactly the same today, even the same figure of £143.34. I just deleted it.
