Got my boiler from T and p yesterday fitted it today it hasnt got the 20 min timer cut off on it
so if it goes wrong there only up the road from me happy days :) :) :)

I put it on my farther in law account has he gets a better disscount than me he said it was £138.00

thats a good price
did you get it fitted by a gas safe engineer,if not it can invalidate the warranty....i think :D but for £138 if you make it to the year no problems

That sounds really good. Is it the electric ignition model? Let us know how you get on with it , it sounds like it has good potential.

I fitted it bob but i had my farther in law to cheek it to make sure every think ok as hes a gas engineer
There no batteries needed i let u know later in the week hows it going

Looks like they have a pilot light. The slightly more expensive units have a manual ignition system to light the pilot light, which is the only difference to the base model that doesn't have this.
This looks fine for a stationery caravan, but I think its less suitable for a window cleaning environment.

point taken regards the pilot light
depending on your van i suppose you could box it in,ie in a cupboard like in a caravan? with flue out of the top and the boxing could be open at the bottom for air flow etc

I would think there wouldn't be too much of a problem with the unit fitted inside the van provided there aren't any draughts. The unit would need to be vented properly through the roof. But the issue I see is relighting the pilot light each time the van is moved.
I wonder how many people using gas can honestly say they follow the letter of the law and switch the gas bottle off every time they move the van.
Many years ago when we caravaned my Dad would tow his caravan all day with the gas fridge burning, if he didn't the stuff inside would spoil in the heat.
