Title: Prochem Glidemaster Hand Tool
Post by: wayne zabel on January 19, 2013, 04:35:28 pm
Doing a job today and my Glidemaster hand tool suddenly stopped working properly, basically only jetting from one half of the nozzle now - any ideas about whats gone wrong and ease of repair. Is it just a replacement nozzle and is it an easy job?

Thanks wayne

took to pieces and done that and its still the same, any other ideas?

Also can I just buy the brass part of the tool without the female quick connect?

Dont want to go to the expense of a whole new tool if I can buy the brass part,

put the jet into boiling water, leave for a while, then with pliers lift out and put high pressure air through it.

As above its just blocked, put itin some hot descaler for 10 mins then flush it through with your highest psi. If that does not clear it then it may be a git of glass or grill that it lodged and you will have to persivere with a pin or fuse wire till its clear.
