Does anybody have the above system and if so can you give me your views on it please,
Many thanks in advance
-
I haven't got the whole system, I've got the profiler and resin canister.
The setup is great, all John guest push fits, so no leaks, and quick to put together. The ro's are the same as the 4040 ro, but half the size, so having 2 of the ro's will work like a 4040.
The prefilters are great because it only needs 1 as it is a carbon and sediment in one, they can last up to a year, if not longer, and they replacement per filter is only £22.

Thanks lee,
Can you tell me what one you have hf4 or hf5, what pressure you have, your Tds in, Tds out before resin and how much it makes an hour.
Thanks so much,
Jon

I don't have the RO from Gardiners, but I have the hf5 4040. I use a booster pump so I have very good pressure. The tds in is 375-400, out is 10. When I first got is 2 1/2 years ago the tds out was 7.

That's about what my Tds in is, what booster pump do you use and how much di you make in litres an hour,
Thanks

I've got the Clark cbm240e. It probably takes 2-2 1/2 hours to fill a 650l tank
-
That's really quick, I use a 300gpd at the minute and was worried about moving to a bigger Ro cause I'm use to getting a good quality of water but its only making it at 30lpm. I'm going in at 375-400 and out at best prob 10-14. Sounds like I need to make the change and then I can do away with my 5 ibcs as well!
Does the pump have a cut off so that when its full it cuts both product water and supply?
-
The tank has a solenoid and float, so when it's full it stops the tank filling, the booster pump has a controller, and senses the pressure building up because of the solenoid and cuts the pump off
-
Do you happen to have any pics of your set up please?
-
I have the portable ro, works great tds 380 down to 0 - 4
Filling up my 500 ltr tank takes about 3 hours ish
If it comes with hozelock to john guest fittings make sure you put extra plumbers tape on the joins before you start.
I keep mine indoors and carry out to back tap when needed it is quite weighty!
Nice bit of kit.

What one have you got Craig, hf4 or hf5, do you have it pumped? What does it get it down to before resin?
Thanks

If i have the wrong type for normal tap pressure is that bad ? Its working as such taking it down to 0 - 4 pps.

hi craig,
i take it thats after the resin at 0-4, do you know what it is after ro, but before resin.
