The only problem with this method is any other window cleaner can go knock on there door when they see it.

I get them from printcarrier.co.uk. a6 on 300grm card. I don't pay for them to be designed, I keep it very simple and do it in paint. Do always pay the extra £10 for print carrier to check them before printing though.

I find that I get one card in the window for roughly every 1 hours leafletting. Sometimes much better, best response was 30 for 300 leaflets. Very rarely will I get nothing.

True but you can cover so much ground if using 2 or 3 leafletters the odd one stolen is neither hear nor there. I have nearly 900 customers almost all built on this leaflet.

U get 1 every hour, would that be for each person leafleting or 1 custy for every 2-3 leafleters? How many quotes would you do for say 10000 leaflets? Also i searched for print carrier.co.uk but could only find printcarrier.com and there prices are very high for 10000 a6 £700-£800

Thanks Wayne.

Not sure where you are looking but you can get 10k for £122 here - http://www.printcarrier.com/gb/category-10184/DIN-A6-10.5-cm-x-14.8-cm.html

I quote per leafletter per hour. Very roughly, depends on what type of housing. Long driveways are less. Last year 30k leaflets got me 350 customers after 6 months. We probably got closer to 420 but some dropped out.

It's never been a problem for me, not a big one anyway. Yes, you do need to be on the ball but that goes without saying anyway if you are trying to build a business.

Am I reading this right.
You have an A6 300Gm leaflet, One side extolls your service as a window cleaner. The other side has a logo or something on it which is an indication they want a quote which they display in their window.
So day 1 you drop say 300 in a a small area. day two you trawl the same streets again looking
for those who want a quote? thereby doing away with the " go away" Pill when canvassing?

That's pretty much it other than you can cover a lot more ground with the leaflet.

And this is a sure fire method for you.

I'd drive all the areas first, make a note of any in the windows and then start over calling to each house with a leaflet in the window. It's surprising how many do down after a day or two. Cats, Kids etc knock them over. If you have a list you can call back even if card is gone.
